Sibyl Medie
General Counsel
Sibyl Medie serves as General Counsel at BioCare, bringing more than 15 years of leadership across healthcare, technology, and highly regulated commercial environments. A seasoned legal executive, she partners closely with executive leadership and the Board to align legal strategy with BioCare’s growth priorities while strengthening governance, risk management, and ethical standards across the enterprise.
Prior to joining BioCare, Sibyl served as Senior Healthcare Counsel within Mastercard’s Global Healthcare Division, where she directed legal strategy supporting the development and commercialization of global healthcare solutions. She previously led enterprise legal and compliance functions for a clinical data exchange and health information services organization, advising the C-suite and Board on complex regulatory, privacy, and commercial matters. Her career also includes senior legal leadership roles at Olive AI, The Cigna Group (including Express Scripts), and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, supporting large-scale pharmacy, payer, and health IT organizations.
Sibyl holds a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Health Law Journal, with a focus on health law and healthcare regulation. She also holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology & Chemical Science from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Northwestern University.
