New Business Acquisition (Primary Focus)

  • Own net-new account acquisition within an assigned territory, targeting high-value community oncology practices and strategic groups
  • Build and maintain a robust prospecting pipeline aligned with BioCare’s growth objectives
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from initial outreach to contract execution for complex, multi-stakeholder deals

Relationship Development & Account Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner during onboarding and activation phases
  • Build trusted relationships with physician leaders, administrators, and operational stakeholders
  • Identify risks, adoption barriers, and growth opportunities; coordinate internal resources to address them
  • Manage assigned accounts to ensure retention, growth, and product mix optimization

RFP Leadership & Deal Strategy

  • Act as the lead coordinator for RFP activity, engaging cross-functional teams and GPO partners
  • Deliver compelling customer-facing presentations for RFP responses
  • Oversee Prime Vendor Agreement execution, ensuring negotiated terms are finalized and implemented

Market Development & Brand Leadership

  • Position BioCare as a thought leader in community oncology
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and emerging networks
  • Represent BioCare at industry events, advisory boards, and strategic forums
  • Provide market intelligence to inform strategy and future growth initiatives

Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce CRM
  • Report on progress against targets, pipeline health, and onboarding milestones
  • Use data insights to refine territory strategy and execution
  • Operate with ownership, accountability, and results orientation

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business and financial data, and develop innovative solutions
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of business management, fiscal management, sales management, and forecasting
  • Must possess the technical skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active member of executive management

Required education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of field sales or business development experience in complex healthcare environments
  • Proven success in negotiating and closing Prime Vendor Agreements
  • Strong executive presence, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-directed, strategic thinker with ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
