Job summary:

Under direct supervision of the Customer Care Manager, this position is responsible for performing all duties associated with the sale and distribution of BioCare and LogiCare programs, services, and products.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Receive and process written, verbal, or electronic customer orders, preparing all required forms and documents, and utilizing the most cost-effective shipping method(s)
  • Complete data entry for all inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and sales orders
  • Work with assigned Account Manager(s) and other BioCare staff to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Monitor inventory levels at assigned consignment accounts and work with inventory team to ensure proper stocking levels are maintained and short-dated inventory is rotated
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy
  • Assist Account Managers and/or center staff in reconciling consignment or center product inventory variances; assist Account Manager and finance team with past due accounts and general receivables issues
  • Work on-call shifts as needed, including product transport from warehouse to local hospitals.
  • Provide back-up in the absence of the Sr. Customer Service Representative(s)
  • Deliver quality customer service to all team members, customers, and stakeholders
  • Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations
  • Bring any compliance issues to the attention of management
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

 

Required competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to understand, follow, and give precise written and verbal instructions, and perform all activities safely
  • Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check aligned with company, licensing and accreditation standards
  • Ability to work independently

 

Required certifications, licenses, education, and experience:

  • Valid in–state driver’s license
  • High School graduate or GED required

Preferred education, competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • One year customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience
