Job Description: 

BioCareSD is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of SAP Supply Chain Management to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of SAP-based supply chain processes. This role will be instrumental in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and driving operational excellence through SAP S/4HANA and related modules. 

The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and third-party partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient supply chain solutions tailored to the needs of a regulated pharmaceutical distribution environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Own the end-to-end SAP Supply Chain roadmap, including planning, execution, and support across key SAP S/4HANA modules such as MM, SD, LE, EWM, and AATP. 

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of supply chain processes, with a focus on Demand & Supply Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Material Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), and Warehouse Management. 

• Collaborate closely with business leaders across Operations, Distribution, Quality & Regulatory, and Customer Service to ensure SAP solutions meet evolving business requirements. 

• Lead cross-functional SAP project teams, including internal resources and external vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. 

• Manage SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and rollouts with minimal business disruption. 

• Ensure robust data integrity, compliance, and governance across all supply chain transactions in SAP. 

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP best practices within the supply chain domain. 

• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (including FDA, DSCSA, REMS) and oversee the integration of batch management into SAP processes. 

• Monitor and improve SAP system performance and proactively address issues impacting supply chain operations. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field. 

• 10+ years of experience in SAP supply chain implementation and configuration, with at least 6 years in a leadership or strategic role. 

• Hands-on experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA. 

• Deep technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules: MM, SD, EWM, AATP, with integration experience across systems and platforms. 

• Proven expertise in Demand & Supply Planning, MRP, Warehouse Management, MM, and IM. 

• Experience working in a pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated distribution environment. 

• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory processes related to pharmaceutical supply chain operations. 

• Exceptional project management, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams. 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
