Alternate Site Liaison
Job summary:
This role will act as a liaison between alternate site customers and BioCare staff to ensure outstanding customer service, and to retain and expand business. This position will take direction from Director, Sales Operations and work closely with the Alternate Sites Sales Leadership Team.
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver quality customer service to all team members, customers, and stakeholders
- Prepare and review reports to closely monitor customer trends, allocations, and credit limits, and update internal stakeholders (finance, inventory, customer service, management)
- Maintain knowledge of the current industry and the competitive landscape, including GPOs, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors, etc.
- Prepare administrative documents to support sales team functions including but not limited to:price quotes, RFP responses, process flows, and presentations.,
- Actively and diplomatically resolve customer disputes, problems, and issues, including collection difficulties, in coordination with management
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows, as directed
- Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews
- Complete all administrative requirements in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner (expenses, compliance, salesforce.com, others as directed)
- Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations
- Bring any compliance issues to the attention of management
- Engage with customers as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
Required competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to think strategically and independently
- Thorough knowledge of sales and/or marketing, including business management
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver results with a variable workload and multiple priorities
- Proven ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with customers
- Ability to work independently and as an active participant in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI), Salesforce, SAP
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with customers, employees, and vendors at all levels
- Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check aligned with state and federal laws and regulations
Required certifications, licenses, education, and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid in–state driver’s license
- Five years with healthcare products or services
Preferred competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Pharmaceutical distribution experience
- Experience with customer engagement, products or services, with business development skills.
- Ability to understand complex contracting and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written communications skills
- Knowledge of the pharmacy, provider office, or hospital systems.
- Skilled at fostering cross-functional collaboration and building consensus at all organizational levels

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and/or phone

- Ability to drive safely for up to 8 hours at a time
