Job summary: The Pricing Analyst plays a crucial role in helping BioCare maintain competitiveness in the marketplace while ensuring profitability and adherence to regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for supporting our customer pricing strategy and optimizing our customer pharmaceutical product pricing.

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing contract membership eligibility and Class of Trade (COT) assignment on an ongoing basis ensuring customers are categorized within their correct business activities and are correctly assigned to their designated contracts.
  • Develops new approaches to contract administration processes which results in improved invoice accuracy; strives for continuous process improvement within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Assist business development/sales with customer assignment to their designated contracts and/or Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) membership rosters.
  • Implements, processes, tracks, and maintains customer contractual agreements, including contract review and pricing.
  • Responsible for any buying group and national account monthly reporting.
  • Manges GPO rosters and eligibility for existing and new BioCare customers.
  • Partners with sales team to capture pricing changes.
  • Manages the configuration of data to be imported into the ERP.
  • Responsible for generating reports such as weekly, month end, ad hoc, rebate, and administration reports; requires the utilization of multiple systems and the consolidation of data from various sources.
  • Design/Implementation of workflow changes of new pricing contracts and changes
  • Manages and configures customer onboarding reviews.
  • Identifies, creates, implements, and maintains needed alerts and reporting needs for contract and price modifications.
  • Perform regular monitoring activities to ensure that customers are properly classified.
  • Addresses issues in pricing with customer as they arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Broad training in fields such as business administration, sales, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Normally requires a minimum of one to two-years of experience
  • GPO Membership Operations, GPO Operations, Intermediate Salesforce knowledge, and/or pharmacy contracting experience preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking ability
  • Provide strategic planning which includes identifying, communicating, and direction critical activities that will enhance operational performance
  • Understanding of contract operations and sales operations.
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for automation of solutions and its potential for improving departmental and inter-departmental efficiency.
  • Demonstrated history of high-level support to a business manager.
  • Superior analytical skills relative to data analytics
  • Excellent organizational skills: attention to detail with proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent integration, implementation, and management skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate change.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a team including Lead role.
  • Ability to use technical skills to lead an analytic and systematic approach to issue resolution.

Required certifications, licenses, education, and experience:

  • Demonstrated history of high-level support to a business manager
  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, sales, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Requires a minimum of three to four years of experience.

Preferred education, competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • GPO Membership Operations, GPO Operations, Intermediate Salesforce knowledge, and/or pharmacy contracting experience preferred.
