If you want to be part of a growing company that helps save lives, BioCare may be the perfect place for you! We are a distributor of specialty pharmaceuticals that treat rare diseases, such as hemophilia, immune system deficiency and ALS. We are looking for a Part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to grow with us. Our CSRs play a crucial role in getting the right medication in the right hands, at the right time so we need someone who is detail oriented and passionate about helping others.

** All candidates MUST be available and consistently able to work the schedule indicated below **

Schedule/Required availability:

  • In office work Sunday through Thursday – you can choose your start and end times, but they should be consistent from week to week
  • On the same in-office days, be on call from 5 pm – 7 am the next morning (on call hours paid at $3/hour)
  • Rotating Sundays on call from 4 pm until 7 am on Monday (on call hours paid at $3/hour)
  • During on call hours, able to go to warehouse to pull & prepare order for courier pickup (we pay a minimum of 2 hours at your regular hourly rate when you are Called Back In)
  • Up to 25 work hours per week (including Called Back In hours), depending on the in-office hours you choose

Typical duties:

  • Receive and process customer orders, prepare required forms and determine the most cost-effective shipping method
  • Data entry of all inventory transactions
  • Coordinate shipments and confirm receipt of product
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist Account Managers with reconciling inventory variances
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring any issues with orders, transfers and/or inventory movement are resolved
  • Work on-call shifts as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • High School graduate or GED required
  • 1+ years of delivering top notch customer service
  • Longevity in employment history
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with employees, management, and vendors at all levels
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to understand, follow and give precise written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver results with a variable workload and multiple priorities, paying close attention to detail with minimal supervision
  • Must be reliable and consistently able to provide on-call coverage as indicated above, including some holidays
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as an active participant in a team environment
  • Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen within company and accreditation standards
