Typical duties:

  • Ensure high quality employee attraction, engagement, and development at all levels and effectively manage all personnel issues (e.g., staffing, disputes, diversity & inclusion, etc.)
  • Develop a high-performing culture by modeling BioCare’s FIRST Values and providing leadership and support for on-going training and all BioCare initiatives
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, local, company, and safety regulations, policies, and SOPs, ensuring the building is always prepared for any internal or external audit
  • Actively oversee and manage warehouse operations by giving work direction, resolving problems, setting deadlines, ensuring timely completion of work, budgeting & cost planning, and driving efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Operations, 3PL, Customer Service, HR, and Finance to ensure operations are identifying, meeting, and exceeding desired output and best practices
  • Responsible for managing and tracking all product allocation requirements from the manufacturers and the field
  • Work with IT and outside consultants to develop the tools necessary to comply with all internal and external reporting requirements including sales, financial, redistribution, GPO, etc.
  • Identify opportunities and approaches to improve warehouse operations and fiscal performance
  • Work in concert with senior management to build business partnerships with manufacturers, GPOs, and hospital customers, including presenting BioCare and LogiCare operational capabilities
  • Serve as the Designated Representative for BioCareSD and LogiCare3PL wholesale distribution
  • Deliver quality customer service to all team members, customers, and stakeholders
  • Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations
  • Bring any compliance issues to the attention of management

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including each of the following:
    • 3+ years in manufacturing or distribution center
    • 6+ years in a supervisory role
    • 3+ years of full-time managerial or supervisory experience in a pharmacy or wholesale distributor, in a capacity related to the dispensing and distribution of, and the record keeping related to, prescription drugs or devices
  • Valid in–state driver’s license
  • Ability to be licensed as a Designated Representative
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver results with a variable/diverse workload and multiple priorities, paying close attention to detail
  • Effectively navigate through complex situations, both internal and external, that may require multiple decision makers
  • Advanced knowledge of Operations/Distribution/Pharma Supply Chain Management
  • Working knowledge of the specialty distribution and third-party logistics industries, including pharmaceutical regulations and manufacturer needs and preferences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with customers, employees, stakeholders, and vendors at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically and collaborate with others to develop, drive, implement and maintain innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
    • Must have a participative management style with strong team development & coaching skills, and the ability to lead and motivate others
  • Ability to work independently and as an active participant in a team environment
  • Must have analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide high levels of customer service and work effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of warehouse management systems and ERP software
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check aligned with accreditation regulations and company guidelines

It's a plus if you also have:

  • Advanced financial and business acumen to include knowledge of key financial statements drivers and levers
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience
  • Cold Chain experience
  • Familiarity with DDA requirements
